A New Experience

Financial pressures are a part of life. We all seem to have them, regardless of our income level. Why that is requires a different post, but suffice it to say that we are dealing with some of our own. During the month of January, Amy and I prayed for real wisdom on how to handle some challenges we were facing and God provided a solution -- Papa Johns!

I've never delivered pizza before, but it runs in the family and I have always been intrigued by the idea of doing it. So, I put in my application at several local establishments and a couple weeks later, I am an official part-time employee of Papa Johns.

Last weekend was my first on the job and I absolutely loved it. It is helping us meet some financial obligations and also expanding my horizons a bit. My two biggest concerns are the times it takes me out of the home and the temptation to eat unhealthily. Time will tell how I am able to handle these challenges.
