Did I mention "Recovery"?


Well, here I am 4 days after the half marathon and still dealing with the recovery part. I did come out with a slight injury during the run I discovered. My iliotibial ligament in my right knee is extremely sore and I didn't help that any when I ran 3 miles on Monday. Since then, I have discovered this is a legitimate concern and have decided to rest for a little bit.

I think this injury might be due to my increased pace over the last mile and a half but if so, that's OK. I'm still extremely thrilled with how I ran the race.

For now, I'll just have to move to other forms of exercise... Any ideas?

Sorry about your injury Paul!

When I was injured I just upped my game on weight training and also rode the stationary bike. I am not sure that is an option since it is your knee though.

Hope it starts to feel better soon. Rest is key!

Yo bro! Maybe this is a great opportunity to start biking. I find it works wonders for the knees :-) Be praying for you.
