Baseball season has started and the Braves have gotten off to a mediocre start. There hitting has been phenomenal but their pitching, especially their starting pitching has been horrible. Even 11 games into the season there is not one starter who has one win yet. Four of their five wins this year are all credited to one of their new relievers, Oscar Villareal. Say that five times fast!
The Braves are trailing the NY Mets by 4 games. I do feel pretty good about this year, though. I do think that they will sustain their hitting, though maybe not at this pace. However, I think that their pitching, both starting and relief is suspect. While I feel pretty good about John Smoltz and Tim Hudson coming around at some point, I just don't know with the others. We'll have to wait and see.
