House for Sale - Talking to Neighbors

What do you do with talkative neighbors?

We just received some feedback from someone who toured our home twice. They ended up going with a different home (our square footage was too small,) but one thing they mentioned was that they talked to our neighbors who expressed some concerns (which I won't go into detail about.)

Now, we're aware of our neighbors concerns. Matter of fact we were concerned too and pursued these concerns until we got an answer. An answer that our neighbors aren't in agreement with. But what do you do when they are sharing their concerns with someone who is very interested in your house?

Well, there are several emotional reactions that you can have. Most of them, not ones that reflect a prosperous spirit. This situation again brings me to the main crux of this entire process. Am I following God's direction for my life or am I not? Does God want living at our current location or doesn't He? I still feel that this process of relocation is a process that he has directed and therefore, if He has directed it, then the situation with my neighbor is not something He didn't anticipate. It is something that He either ordained or allowed (depending on how you want to look at it...)

So if God wants me to relocate and God allows a prospective buyer to move on (whether my neighbor had anything to do with it or not,) then I will rejoice and be glad. Obviously this was not the right house for them and not the right time for us.

Being able to truly believe this is the key to peace as opposed to anxiety and frustration.
