A week from Saturday I will be running in my 2nd ever race and my first ever half marathon. The first race was a 2 mile run so this is a big step up from that.
It is amazing to think that six months ago the 2 mile race was a huge achievement for me and now I don't run unless I am going at least two miles and usually three. That is not a credit to me at all but a commentary on the importance of having a plan and sticking with it. By breaking this goal down into smaller chunks I am at the edge of achieving something I would have never thought possible or even been interested in doing!
